You automaticaly have access to Keep 0 the first level in Keep. But to explore further down you need to find an item on each level and trade them with Almora in Homlet.

Keep 1: Crest Amulet
Keep 2: Crest Armor
Keep 3: Crest Ring
Keep 4: Must be in a party with a thief and mug Almora
