Referenced : Edge Guild, Special thanks goes to Wuotan_Edge for additional comments. N-1 hmmm well nice place to start N-2 Good spot to find the +2 def helms N-3 There is the mummy king down here to the E ,and a Harder bit with N-4 crits to the SW, first time must have fire and ice prot of 25 , sanquin armor and fire bracers is fine N-4 Big zoos of crits here, first time for stunners so be careful. N-5 LVL10 - 13 you will be fine here unless you leave yourself in the fire room and go and have dinner and even then you would be pretty unlucky to get killed Rack Coat is about all you really need, Nice place to find them yellow pots for Hits N-6
When you come down here it pays to put some stun protection on if you have it I have meet stunning healers down here before, the biggest zoos are to the south or if you come in from the NE steps in n-5 you will be pretty much in the middle of them. N-7 When you get bigger this is a great place to find pots, you can safely hunt the first few rooms and to the west by the dancer trader. with the right gear any pally with multistrike can own N-7. There is a RD behind a secret door, if you feed him a big zoo's of npc's he will have all the pots in his lair. To open the door to N-8 have someone with a slicer stand on the plate in the small room off to the right in the central south hall. old notes : I hate this place, the crits here are mean, watch out for Healers they stun and do EC so you have to be careful , always have stun prot on and if you are unsure if you can handle it wear Gold dragon armor , ( the problem is this is the only place you can get GD armor lol ) The trader for the dancers is down here , it is possible to run to him and run back but be careful not to end up with your boots in your I hand Now the slicer ,,,,,ouch ,,,,,, I have not had to fight him yet so ill just tell you how to run past him,( Thanks to Jellogod for info ). If you have to run past him to get to the portal to cob , the map on the MOY site is old there is a room behind the slicer to the east, you will see a small hole in the wall and this is the hole , what I did was just run east hard and he still hit me for 420 in the way past so be careful.
South of Slicer Lair is Smasher Lair N-8 to N-10 ,,, yet to be explored Yeti caves Bottom level is a mix of n-3 and n-4 crits just in bigger numbers Top level is n-4 crits in huge zoos , good value for finding Hp helms If your not a ment and want to fry lots get some fire ball twigs from the shop in the secret part of the SF , you can kill the zoos in about 3 shots make's it much quicker if you are just looking for hp helms Mealing Caves This is where you find the yellow 50 /50 robes, watch out for the MA guys they hit for 80 -120. other than that there is a few elementals that blind and a deep eye in the middle of here , the other npc's are about the same as the N-5 crits, its a good place to find STR pots as well I hear. Mealing Dungeons M-1 You need to have enmis protection here , the tengus will hit a pally for about 20 / turn, so if you get 5 in a room it hurts real bad, If you have enmiss its not to bad just let the lizardmen kill all the crits and then kill the lizardmen :) ,, there is a room to the SW that has some harder npc's and a bit to the NE that has 2-3 M-2 crits. oh and watch out for the trolls they hit hard 100-120 ish M-2 Bulk coin to be made here , the pearls can go for up to 13 k , so pick them all up , you can find acid bracers and +3/+3 rings here , also a good place for pots as well . You have to have some Lightning protection if you can , and some ice protection , Watch out for the mongrels they will blind and the hardest hits come form the Ogre Lords and the ogres with the +3 katanas, the other ogres are easy meat. I tend to try and make a zoo and let the Kinzo and sanquin kill all the others then kill them , but you have to have good def to do this effectively. Another good starting ploy is to run to the rooms with water in them and then use a range weapon to kill the crits off , this was Kenshins first M-2 strategy and it did me well for a while :) M-3 When you get bigger its no so bad , with 22 wil a pally will not need PS and when you have Blindstrike the dark is not so much of a problem. Excelent place to find Majior Con pots and Agility pots. old notes: Ewww m-3 is nasty , its them dam stunners, You must , ill say again you must have stun protection (from the top floor of the GH if you can ), and max out on fire protection as well , id say 250 to 300 would be ok . And then as if that's not enough you need iv as the golems cast darkness. Watch out for them golems they hit hard and often. Ok so most people come here to look for the BNR , ive found 3 and here is how I do it, put on all you protection and iv , then run , kill as many ninjas and lizards as you can on the way but just keep running until you see a BNR ninja , try to lure him into a room them whip his but get the gear and run :) There is a door here that you cant get in , its to the south ,if you hold a uncut in you hand it will take you to frore I think :) M-4 This place is full of Ogres , stunners and golems that are a bit harder than above , there are also some names ninjas that run around down here and they hit real hard 200-300 and very often , if you are lucky the drop sashes with good attack bonus on them. you will also from time to time see a named ninja down here in a Silver robe ( Tip : They cant charge ) Some of the stunners will have lightning tantos so watch out for them, and the ogres have 4/4 evil rings if you are evil To get into the Double Ninja Lair (DNL), you will need a item from each of the mini lairs, they are SER, Stunner Tanto, Golem Ceramic Scales, and a 0/3 sash from the lair Ninja. Each item will be destroyed as you step into the portal and it warps you to the next portal. Upon turning in the 4th item, you will be teleported into the DNL. * Spawn time on the Lair Ninja, Stunner and Golem is 1 hour and 34 minutes.* 1) Single Ninja Lair: You need a Flecked gem to get in here. Drops Ray-like gem, a +5 neutral katana and a 0/3 blue sash. 2) Golem Lair: You need a pulsing purple gem to get in here. He's not to hard but he does IH once his lair is to the East. Drops Trapped gem and ceramic scales. *you need to look at the lair Golem each time it spawns, if you see him wearing ceramic scales, that is the golem you need to take to the tanner and tan for the correct scales to enter the Double Ninja Lair.* 3) Tengu Lair: You need a Trapped gem to get into here. Make sure you have enmiss protection for this one , again not to hard if you are equipped right. Drops Pulsating gems and sometimes Super Enmiss Robes (SER). 4) Stunner Lair : You need a Ray-like gem to get in here. Drops Flecked gem and +5 neutral returning tanto with level 8 lightning. Double Ninja Lair: Kill named ninjas outside of the 4 mini lairs on M-4 to get various gems. Both Ninjas in the lair are named, one will be wearing a glowing SNR, the other will have a +5 neutral katana and a 3/3 blue and red sash. Neither one charge or jumpkick, both have multiple IHs and they have the usual 3x3 lairs. The room they are in is 9x5 with a tunnel leading to the exit. The lair is no twig, so noding will land you back in Nork. They also drop fungus bread. Dark Tower It is the building in the sea west of Freore , it have a moat like thing around it , you just jump into the moat and your in there . The first 2 levels are like a mix of n-6 and n-7 crits so don't forget to use stun protect. after theses levels its gets more interesting The entrance to the multi lair is in the wall to the south on the first level On the 3rd level you will encounter , ninja's some of which wear draggy gaunts and hit for 250 ish. There is also Stalkers , theses guys hide and hit for about 50-100. And there are monks that hit for about 100-200. All of them can jump kick so watch out , they will fight each other if you leave them to it but they take ages to kill each other. 4th Level more of the same , I can do these to levels solo if you close the doors as you go and run from zoos, , I have heard that the gaunts from here are better than off the RD so grab some 5th Level , The top there is a huge zoo up here , I can parry them and not get hit so if you can parry you will be ok , there is a guy up here that will trade for Vamp grips if you have a vamp heart to trade Stalkers drop the 5/5 rings here if you are lucky so check the piles KM -1 Also known as the triple mino lair , the minos are to the south to the north is the portal to KM2 If you got south there are giants and other crits like out in the wilderness of freore down here. to the north are Lvl & type npcs and wraiths harpies and skellies , so make sure you have PS on and watch out for hiding wraiths To get to KM-2 jump in the portal with a uncut emerald in your hand KM - 2 Same as above but more of them do be careful. Its a big place but hard to map , To the SW is the Muzi trader to the SE is a little room with KM-4 crits in it so if you see an Archer or a Mino Guard and can't take them run fast. If you can take them it's a good place to come and take a few -4 crits on KM-3 Npcs like on N-7 maybe a little worse, also some parts have Denaba and Clethering Like in the acid caves. I have not explored this place too much , but look out for earth crush and stun, there are big zoo's here KM-4 OK this is where it gets more fun, Mino's, Mino Lords, sewer rats, archers and nasty stuners. Make sure you have backup or minor restore on down here because the crits will pop your gear.
Minotaurs can drop silver axes. Archers can drop bows and 3/3 Energyshield rings. Rats can drop transmute twigs. Minolords can drop +3 raxes. There are big zoos so be carefull KM-5 Same sort of crits as KM-4 but they seem to hit a bit harder down here and the randoms seem to have better adds. there are not as many zoos. But trust me for a lvl 20 pally 2 minos at once is very scary down here. Look out if you just wander around there are teleport hexes all over this level Slith always drops at least 1 diamond (150k+ value) and a piece of amber (for robe). She can also drop zaps if she didnt drink them and very very rarely a Slith Potion. It can be sensed to see what type of stat potion it is (random each time she drops it). Roaming Spectre drops a +2 muzi each time and rarely some 3/3 Elephant Boots. All minotaurs, including guards/lords, on this level can drop Mino Bloods, Bloodroots 1-6oz, and axes. All minoguards can drop +5 glowing/silver raxes. All archers can drop +6 glowing/silver proning longbows. All harpies can drop 4/4 es rings of various levels. Rats drop transmute twigs. |
