Visit the Costumist and get a Pumpkin Basket by saying Cos,basket. Make sure you have your right hand empty and at least 1GP in your sack. The Pumpkin Basket will POOF if put on the ground. The Basket is also considered a gem so encrusting it is possible. While there, ask the Costumist for a costume. To see a list of Major and Minor Creatures, say Cos,creature and to see a list of Lair crits, say Cos,lair. Creature costumes cost 50 GP while Lair costumes cost 100 GP. Get a surprise costume by saying Cos,surprise or something gross by saying Cos,gross.

With Pumpkin Basket in hand and dressed in a costume (or not), Trick or Treat the NPCs in Nork to get the Candies. Candy is available from: Talbot, Annalie, Sir Halden, Guard at N -3.5 Stairs, Welby, Moonshadow, Sal, Wartberg, Hector and the Crier. Remember: Candy POOFS if put on the ground and only works during the Event. If thrown, Candy shatters like a Bottle and if sold, worth only 1 GP. Candy can be stolen from you and stolen back by you to give to your other crits but why cheat? Your other crits can Trick or Treat too and Nork Island is generally a safe neighborhood.

What kinds of Halloween Candy? Types of Candy include: Peppermints, Gum, Green hard candy, Blue Wrapped and (Hersey) Kisses. Type of Candy has no effect on result of eating the Candy.
What are the effects of the Halloween Candy? Effects are random but include:
Sickly sweet. Stat is already at 19.
You feel more agile. Agility +1.
You feel smarter. Intelligence +1.
You feel wiser. Wisdom +1.
You feel stronger. Constitution +1.
Your muscles bulge painfully. Strength +1.
You are Mentally fit. Willpower +1.
You are Combat Ready. HP temporary OverMax +50 HP.
You feel Energetic. EP temporary OverMax +50 EP.
You feel more Experienced. + XP. From 14K+ to 19K+ XP.
